Afro-Latin Percussion Instruments (2.0 units)
Instruction in the performance of percussion instruments associated with African, South American, and Caribbean music traditions, with special emphasis on adaptation to jazz music.
- Note: The activities of this class cannot be accomplished effectively while everyone is masked. All students enrolled in this course must be cleared by the Thornton School of Music for proximity to in-person aerosol-producing activity. The last day for any non-majors or non-minors to register for this course will be Wednesday, January 5th.
