Explore a variety of compositional forms and methods to develop a personalized choreographic approach.
- Prerequisite: DANC 231
- Restriction: Registration open to the following major(s): Dance
- Note: To register for both sections of DANC 350, contact aubertsa@usc.edu. Section 22525 with Professor Corbin: In this course, students will investigate several approaches to creating work, building narrative, and conceiving and using space by adopting and adapting ideas from cinema, literature, architecture, journalism, and philosophy. Section 22526 with Professor Stoppiello: In this course, students will compose intermedia performance that integrates two or more of the following media: movement, video projections, original and/or generative sound design, motion capture, and/or other visual and spatial design elements.
