Studies in selected areas of theatre art. Intensive practice in role and script interpretation and its psychological relationship to the audience.
  • Note: Section #63285 (Dramaturgy) Every theatre professional needs to be able to perform aspects of dramaturgy: dramaturgs facilitate the collaborations of every aspect of producing a play from commissioning new works to season planning; from helping designers with research to creating lobby displays, web sites, program copy, and educational materials; from working behind the scenes with the director to reaching out to the public to bring in new audiences. NOTE: This class can serve as credit to meet the THTR 305a requirement via petition.
