Comparative approach to bacteria, Archaea and viruses; their structure, life cycles, geochemical activity, ecology and nutrition. Fundamentals of metabolism and microbial genetics.
- Prerequisite: BISC 320 and 1 from (CHEM 322a or CHEM 325a)
- Note: Register for lecture and one lab. BISC 312 will not be accepted in lieu of the BISC 320 prerequisite.
