Post-Conviction Justice Project I (1.0-5.0 units)

A year-long clinical program where second and third year students provide legal representation to men and women serving life terms in California prisons. Under faculty supervision students represent clients on a variety of post-conviction matters, including parole hearings, state and federal habeas petitions, clemency applications and resentencing hearings and appeals. Experiential units.
