Introduction to Transport Processes in Porous Media (4.0 units)
Fundamentals of flow and transport in porous materials including: Properties of porous rocks, capillarity effect, single- and multiphase flow, diffusion and dispersion in miscible displacements.
- Prerequisite: MATH 245 and PHYS 151 and 1 from (CHEM 105A or CHEM 115A)
- Crosslist: This course is offered by the PTE department but may qualify for major credit in CHE. To register, enroll in PTE 463.
