Rap, Race and Redemption

Rap confronts issues of racial justice, solidarity and separation, guilt and innocence. This event will bring together students, faculty and artists to discuss such issues, while the poetry and music of rap will engage us morally and move us spiritually.

The Shakti Dance Company

Film Across Borders: Mexican and Chicano Cinemas

This film festival will feature a variety of films exploring the relationship between Mexico and Mexican America. Numerous issues will be addressed, with particular emphasis on immigration from both Chicano and Mexican perspectives.
