Introduction to Operating Systems (4.0 units)
Basic issues in concurrency, deadlock control, synchronization scheduling, memory management, protection and access control, inter-process communication, and structured design. Laboratory experiences with Unix-like operating system. Prerequisites: CSCI 201L and EE 109 or EE 352. Duplicates credit in CSCI 402.
