    This section of WRIT 150 offers students chances for writing and Critical reasoning that foreground global contexts. Students will engage in active and collaborative writing projects, lessons, and ancillary assignments that foster awareness of human connectedness through engaging with current issues and perspectives in globalization. Some topics that will be covered include: cultural imperialism, free trade agreements, immigration reform, and oil pipelines. This transnational framework will give students a unique opportunity to practice critical thinking and writing in especially timely and multidisciplinary ways.
