The learning management system (LMS) is an essential part of the teaching process and enterprise infrastructure for today's higher learning institution. More than 80 percent of USC students use the Blackboard LMS, and 70 percent of faculty teach at least one course that relies on the Blackboard LMS.This first forum of the series focuses on the current state of the LMS at USC, including the current upgrade to the latest Blackboard 9, and the teaching practices associated with the LMS at USC.
