Join us for the announcement of the 2013 Student Voices contest winners followed by a panel discussion with contest jurors including Ari Sandel, a USC School of Cinematic Arts graduate and winner of the 2006 Academy Award for Best Short Film for West Bank Story.
The 2013 Student Voices short film contest enables USC students to join the conversation about genocide and human rights by using the Visual History Archive to craft visual arguments on this year’s theme: Ordinary People, Extraordinary Actions. Make sure to cast your vote for the Viewer's Choice Award which will be presented at the event.
This year’s contest is part of a series of special activities commemorating the 20th anniversary of Schindler’s List and the establishment of the Institute.
