Join us for a panel discussion on the art of writing the literary essay featuring Tom Bissell, Lynell George, and David Ulin; moderated by Dinah Lenney.
TOM BISSELL is the author of several books, including the essay collection Magic Hours. He is a past winner of the Rome Prize and a Guggenheim Fellowship.
LYNELL GEORGE is a longtime staff writer for the L.A. Weekly, where she covers arts, culture, identity politics, and L.A. History.
DAVID ULIN is a book critic for the Los Angeles Times. His work has appeared in numerous publications including The Atlantic Monthly, The Nation, and Bookforum.
