Dr. Dan Durbin joins USC greats from the 1940s through 2000s in discussing a new book on the history of Trojan football.
In addition to Dan Durbin, communication professor at the USC Annenberg School, confirmed guests include: Gordon Gray, hero of the 1944 Rose Bowl; NFL Hall of Fame player Ron Yary; member of the Green Bay Packer Hall of Fame Al Carmichael; 1950s Trojan greats C. R. Roberts and Sam “The Toe” Tsagalakis; members of the 1972 “Greatest College Football Team of All Time” Rod McNeill and Manfred Moore; co-MVP of the 1975 Rose Bowl J.K. McKay; 1980s Trojans Tim Green, Jeff Brown and Jeff Bregel; and 1990s Trojan Tim Lavin.
After a panel discussion, the event will move to the Annenberg East Lobby for a reception and a book signing. Author Steve Travers and former Trojan players will sign copies of the book What It Means To Be a Trojan.
