Thornton’s annual classical guitar concerto concert.

Michael Powers leads a small chamber orchestra of USC students. The concert features soloists Tim Callobre (winner of the Parkening Youth Competition and of the first-ever Thornton Faculty Award in 2011) in Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez; Ricardo Escobar (semi-finalist in the Parkening Competition and Schadt Concerto Competition) in Leo Brouwer's Tres Danzas Concertantes, and Hungarian virtuoso Andras Csaki (prize-winner of 20 competitions, including Tokyo, Alessandria, and Almeira) in Rodrigo's Fantasia para un gentilhombre.
