USC School of Theatre This rollicking work by Moliere finds a most unliterary lady intent on hosting a high-toned literary salon.
She has neither literary nor common sense, which makes her easy prey for a con artist who passes himself off as a famous poet and becomes a permanent house guest. The woman hopes to marry her daughter to him, but the daughter has plans of her own.
