Dan Rothblatt, senior vice pesident of philanthropic services at the Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles, shares his insight on fundraising gleaned from years of experience in annual endowment and capital campaigns, major gifts, planned giving, campaign management, budgeting and working with donors.

The Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles is the largest manager of charitable assets for Greater Los Angeles Jewish philanthropists. Rothblatt\'s responsibilities include contributing to long-term strategy, integrating the Family Foundation Center into the foundation’s development process and creating and implementing the organization’s annual business plan.

Rothblatt has a master\'s degree in social work from the University of Southern California, a master\'s degree in Jewish Communal Service from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (HUC-JIR) and a bachelor\'s degree from San Francisco State University in design and industry. He was named Alumni of the Year in 1997 by the HUC-JIR\'s School of Jewish Communal Service.
