This two-day course will explore test-taking strategies and major components of the LCSW clinical vignette examination.
The two-part training is an intensive review of essential content related to the LCSW Clinical Vignette Examination. The course will be offered over the span of two months.
The first day will explore test-taking strategies and assess the individualized needs of the examinee. This session will also explore major components of the LCSW examination, such as biopsychosocial assessment and clinical assessment.
The second day will continue with a review and discussion of the major content areas of the examination, with a continued focus on assessment and clinical interventions. Particular emphasis will be on the development of a personalized grasp of content material needed for successful completion of the examination. Practice exams will also be utilized to assist with the application and integration of the material reviewed during the training.
The instructor, Estela Andujo, Ph.D., brings more than 28 years of clinical experience in the field of mental health to her adjunct faculty positions at the USC School of Social Work and California State University, Long Beach. She is also director of the outpatient program at Intercommunity Child Guidance Center in Whittier and a contract trainer for the Los Angeles Department of Mental Health and the Child Welfare Training Academics. In addition, Dr. Andujo has taught LCSW licensing courses for the past 20 years and has assisted hundreds of social workers in preparing for licensure.
