The Center for Feminist Research is sponsoring a New Directions in Feminist Scholarship: Seminar titled "intersectional solidarity." Araceli Esparza, graduate student in American Studies & Ethnicity, will present her work to the seminar and Edwina Barvosa, Department of Chicano Studies at UC Santa Barbara, will discuss Esparza's work. Barvosa is the author of Wealth of Selves: Multiple Identities. Mestiza Consciousness and the Subject of Politics 2008. A book signing of Professor Barvosa will follow 3:30- 5:00.
