  • Ed Tech Forum: iPads in Higher Education

    Come join us to hear Apple Development executive Jay Matheson discuss the use of the iPad in higher education. The session, iPads in the classroom, will cover new ways to reach students and streamline teaching practices. Jay has also offered to comment on January 19th education announcement made in New York.

    In addition to providing solutions to the academic community, Jay also works closely with the California Community College system on issues of Economic and Workforce Development and sits on the advisory board for the Multimedia and Entertainment Initiative. Throughout the west, Jay often partners with campus leadership teams frequently presenting on topics including the integration of technology in academia and the challenges of the 21st century workforce and economy.

    Jay's current focus is on content and content creation for mobile devices including podcasts, video and ePublishing. Prior to joining Apple, Jay worked with some of the top Hollywood movie studios to create viral marketing campaigns for new releases. A graduate of UC Santa Barbara, Jay majored in communication with an emphasis in new technology.
