The Los Angeles County Museum of Art presents a retrospective of Ken Price '57, professor emeritus of the USC Roski School of Fine Arts. A pioneer in the field of ceramics, Price pushed the boundaries of working with clay well beyond traditionally assigned roles. For nearly 15 years, Price taught at USC Roski, where he helped to advance the ceramics area of study. He achieved the rank of tenured professor in 1994 and was honored as professor emeritus in 2005. In 2011, he received the USC Faculty Lifetime Achievement Award.

Join fellow Trojans for a special viewing of this 50-year retrospective of Price's sculptures. The reception will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Wayne Foyer and feature remarks from Erica Muhl, dean of the USC Roski School of Fine Arts. Following the reception, guests will be led on a tour of the exhibition in the Resnick Pavilion by LACMA's Senior Curator and Modern Art Department Head, Stephanie Barron.
