Liz Larner is one of the most important sculptors to emerge from Los Angeles in the past fifteen years. She rigorously interrogates the foundations of sculpture volume, mass, materiality, even color and returns with something that feels entirely new. Her work often seems suspended between order and chaos, a testament to her deft manipulation of space.
