A 16-week occupational therapy lifestyle intervention helps people incorporate health-promoting activities into their daily routines.

The Lifestyle Redesign Weight Management Program takes a holistic view of weight management, focusing on habit changes that are sustainable and lead to continued weight management. Group topics include creating new eating routines, physical activity, stress management, lifestyle balance, emotional eating and more.

Clients have the opportunity to meet with an occupational therapist and other individuals in a supportive environment. Through setting weekly goals, participants are accountable for making change, and experience an increase in motivation and direction to help them create a healthy lifestyle.

Based on your personal preferences, you can ask to join either individual or group sessions. Call to sign up or ask any additional questions regarding the program.

There will be two groups, one on the University Park Campus and one on the Health Sciences Campus:

12 p.m., Thursdays, May 20-September 2
University Park Campus, Waite Phillips Hall, Room 400
Open to new participants through June 3.

12 p.m., Wednesdays, May 26-September 8
Health Sciences Campus, Clinical Sciences Building, Room 133
Open to new participants through June 9.
