Findings from Jufen Liu, Ph.D. candidate at Peking University's Institute of Population Research, and USC School of Social Work visiting student.

Liu will discuss her study on the disability-free life expectancy of older adults in China. She will examine two national disability data sets on the prevalence of disability between 1987 and 2006 and evaluate trends in the health status of older adults in China.

Her research interests include healthy life expectancy, the prevalence of disability and its risk factors among older adults, and the quality of late life in China.
