USC's Nathalie Burle defines Francophonie and addresses its pedagogical implications in the learning of French.

This workshop will provide teaching strategies as well as classroom resources such as francophone literature, film, music, etc.

Burle is a lecturer in the USC Department of French and Italian. She received her doctorate in Educational Psychology, Learning, and Instruction from the USC Rossier School of Education. Her research interests are in cognitive language development, second-language acquisition and pedagogy, curriculum and faculty development, and photolanguage.
