A talk by media mogul Peter Guber, holder of the Holt Visiting Professorship in Communication and Public Policy.

Peter Guber is founder and CEO of Mandalay Entertainment, the visionary multimedia venture spanning movies, TV, professional sports and new media; as well as former chairman and CEO of Sony Pictures Entertainment. He currently holds the USC School of Policy, Planning, and Development's Holt Visiting Professorship.

Guber is among the most successful executives in the entertainment and communications industries. Films he personally produced or executive produced — including Rain Man, Batman, The Color Purple, Midnight Express, Gorillas In The Mist, The Witches of Eastwick, Missing and Flashdance — have earned more than $3 billion dollars worldwide and garnered more than 50 Academy Award nominations.
