A three-part forum series investigates the teaching practices and current uses of the LMS inside and outside of USC. This session was recorded. Please click here to view the archived session.

The learning management system (LMS) is an essential part of the teaching process and enterprise infrastructure for today's higher learning institution. More than 80 percent of USC students use the Blackboard LMS, and 70 percent of faculty teach at least one course that relies on the Blackboard LMS.

Join us to learn from our distinguished guest speakers Niall Sclater (Open University, U.K.) and Stephanie Coopman (San Jose State University), who will present on the challenge to the LMS of cloud computing environments and the changing online technology needs of faculty and students.

This second forum of the series focuses on the rise of cloud computing systems such as Google Apps, blogs, wikis and other alternative systems to the LMS.

Come and share insights with presenters and colleagues during the extended Q&A.
