Visiting USC, renowned physicist Stephen Hawking explains why black holes aren\'t as black as they are painted.

British theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking is best known for his work on cosmology, black holes and quantum gravity.

In this talk, he reveals that black holes are not the eternal prisons once thought. Things can get out of a black hole, both to the outside, and possibly to another universe — so, Professor Hawking suggests, if you feel you are in a black hole, don\'t give up. There may be a way out!

This event is at capacity. View the live Webcast at Taper Hall, Rooms 101 and 102, or log on to college.usc.edu/hawking.
