University Park Campus
Credit Union Building, Room 329

Due to limited space, RSVP is required.

Learn about image methods used in USC laboratories and identifying possible active groups at USC for collaboration.

The workshop will be lead by Susan Forsburg, professor of Molecular and Computational Biology and Center for Excellence in Research Fellow.

Diverse imaging methods — including confocal and deconvolution light microscopy and electron microscopy — are in use in labs at USC to investigate cellular structures and functions. The workshop will describe some of these methods and relevant instrumentation, and help identify possibilities for collaboration with currently active groups or units; it will also inform more experienced investigators of the diversity of approaches already in use. The session will serve as the founding meeting for an imaging super-group at the University Park Campus.
