In a discussion led by top-notch experts in stem cell research, learn how far this area of science has come.

Ever wonder how stem cell research is going — what progress has been made, or what new applications have come out of this work? The Academic Culture Assembly (ACA), a division of Undergraduate Student Government\'s Program Board, presents "Innovation: Stem Cell Progress Report."

The Innovation Series is ACA\'s new line of programs that will introduce the most remarkable original thoughts, ideas and actions of our day. This event is the first in the series.

With restricted federal funding, California and USC are leading the United States\' effort to understand this potentially revolutionary scientific asset in the midst of well known controversy. But what changes have occurred in the field itself that may no longer warrant these arguments? Where is the frontier of stem cell research today?

Join us to learn and discuss. We have many more cutting-edge innovations to come, so stay tuned!
