Annenberg professor Roberto Suro, formerly of The Washington Post, joins students in a talk on the presidential race.

The Unruh Institute of Politics, the Daily Trojan, the Students for John McCain and the Students for Barack Obama invite faculty and friends to the Brown Bag Lunch Series event on immigration.

"Students Speak Up" is a weekly series of campaign-related lunches. Every Wednesday leading up to the 2008 election, the Daily Trojan will print an op-ed from a student supporter of each of the two major candidates on an agreed-upon public policy issue. Then, that Wednesday, the student writers will briefly speak about their respective candidates' positions on that issue, followed by analysis from both student and professional journalists as to the impact of that issue on the campaign.

Following these issue introductions, discussion will be opened to questions from the students in the audience.

Lunch will be served.
