- Susan Estrich, who has been actively involved in Democratic presidential politics, serving as national campaign manager of the Dukakis-Bentsen campaign in 1988
- Judy Muller, who provided coverage for the 1992 Los Angeles riots and the O.J. Simpson case
- Karen Tongson, who was recently a commentator on McCain's selection of Sarah Palin as vice presidential running mate
