We continue to explore the “Golden Age” of American popular music. The instructors will show how those great songs and shows began and then survived and thrived in the era of TV and rock-and-roll. Join us for the music of Tin Pan Alley, World War II, Johnny Mercer, Hoagy Carmichael, Dorothy Fields, “Fiddler on the Roof,” magical movies, and much more. Instructors: Saul H. Jacobs and Bob Lipson.
