    Kathleen Walker, MS, Gerontology, who recently taught the “Introduction to Social Media” class, is available for private lessons in your home.   Katie currently is mentoring our members with general computer questions, and software, hardware, tablets, Ipod, and Facebook questions. Katie holds a Master's of Science in Gerontology from the University of  Southern California. Prior to attending USC, she worked as computer programmer for twelve years.

    The narrative of a painting is more than its story; narrative involves the interaction of all the elements of painting. You will learn how to enter and understand what is happening in paintings and how to complete them with your eyes and mind by discovering the elements of narrative. Students will receive study images to illustrate each element.

     Our last session, Wednesday, April 18, 2012, will be a class field trip to the Norton Simon museum to look at paintings and practive what we've learned.
