    USC Roski alumnus Stephen Douglas (MFA ’88), born in Columbus, Ohio, is a Santa Monica–based painter. His most recent exhibition, “Atmosphere,” was at the Peter Findlay Gallery in New York City. Douglas’s work has appeared in numerous exhibitions at museums and galleries around the country, including the Arnot Museum and the Lyme Academy College of Fine Art, both in New York; the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio; Frye Art Museum in Seattle; and the Walter Anderson Museum of Art, Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Locally, he has exhibited at USC’s own Fisher Museum, at Art Center, Jennifer Dumas Gallery, the L.A. Municipal Art Gallery, Robert Merman Gallery, Peter Blake Gallery, and the Laguna Beach Museum. Douglas is the recipient of several honors, including the Judge’s Award at the Walter Anderson Museum and the GOLD Award for Best of Show in the San Diego Museum of Art’s All-California Juried Exhibition. His work has also been featured in major publications such as the Los Angeles Times, the LA Weekly, American Arts Quarterly, ArtWeek, ArtScene, and others.
