RSVP at the link above beginning Tuesday, October 14, at 9 a.m. Check-in for the event will begin at 4 p.m. on campus. Buses will depart at 4:30 p.m. and return to campus at 9:30 p.m. Refreshments will be provided at the Getty Center. This evening of film and video will feature screenings curated by Marc Gloede, a noted German film curator. Before the film program, students will see the critically acclaimed and highly interactive exhibition Please Be Seated: A Video Installation by Nicole Cohen. Cohen is a USC Roski School alumna. The exhibition and films will explore the psychology of interior spaces through such themes as memory, time travel, interior design, collections, period rooms and scripted spaces. The program will include a discussion with Marc Gloede and Nicole Cohen on the relationship between film and art and the nature of innovation. Organized by the USC Roski School of Fine Arts and Anthony Byrnes, Director, USC Cultural Relations.
