Please join us on Wednesday, November 18 to celebrate the publication of Professor Sarah Gualtieri's book, Between Arab and White: Race and Ethnicity in the Early Syrian American Diaspora (UC Press, 2009). The event is sponsored by the Middle Eastern Studies Initiative and American Studies and Ethnicity.
Professor Laurie Brand (IR) will introduce the book and Professor Ruthie Gilmore (ASE) will comment. There will be a wine and cheese reception.
