An introduction to Italian Renaissance art with emphasis on the role of gender and sexuality in the creation of "masterpieces."

Introductory survey of artistic works and monuments of ancient Greece from the Geometric through the Hellenistic period (c. 1030-50 BC).

Introductory survey of art and architecture of Christianity from 300-1300; biblical themes and classical traditions; cultural and historical analysis of medieval art.
