All the Right Stuff

“Don’t make assembly time an excuse for parading in the halls and talking to every one you see.
“Don’t talk about your fraternity. It shows how you were raised.
“Don’t antagonize the seniors and juniors by wearing corduroys on the campus. Your time will come soon enough.
“Don’t smoke on the campus. It gives too good an opportunity for people to judge what you are.”

Vanessa recommends:
- Getting Oriented
When you first start, the Orientation speakers are so inspiring. I’m so impressed with the teachers, the staff and the Orientation committee. They’re so sincere and welcoming. - Palling Around Pertusati
I work at a law firm on Fridays, and I work at the bookstore, also. The bookstore’s cool, and I’ve made friends with the other student workers. They’re substantially younger than I am, but we still connect, because we’re humorous and have fun with each other. - Eating at Wahoo’s Fish Taco
My favorite place to eat is Wahoo’s Fish Taco. Wahoo’s nachos are awesome. - Hitting the Books
I like reading in Doheny Memorial Library. That’s my favorite place. And I would advise going to class and getting to know your professors. They’ll definitely help you out.
