As the only financial institution headquartered on campus, the USC Credit Union (USCCU) offers the same services as a bank. Because the credit union is owned by its members, profits go back to stockholders and are later recycled back to its customers in the form of higher savings rates and lower or no fees on services. Students and their families are invited to join USCCU and take advantage of free checking accounts, high yield savings accounts, money market accounts, CDs, MasterMoney debit cards, education financing and home, personal and auto loans.

The following are examples of the Credit Union’s student services. To obtain more information, call (213) 821-7100 or visit the Web site at www.USCcreditunion.org.

  • Free checking account accessible with paper checks, electronic checks, ATM cards, debit cards, PayPal and more
  • Access to surcharge-free withdrawals at more than 25,000 co-op network ATMs in all 50 states and 7-Eleven stores
  • Several low-cost loan options to help pay for your college education
  • Online account information and free bill pay available any time through home banking
  • Three convenient locations to serve you better

I highly recommend the Credit Union to current students, especially if you work on campus and/or receive financial aid funds - everything can be direct deposited with no hassle.
