Student Football Season Tickets/Other USC Sports

Students enrolled in the 2007 fall semester classes can purchase a discounted football season ticket online at www.uscticketoffice.com. Freshman and transfer students will have an opportunity to purchase a discounted football ticket in August. You will be notified by email of the exact date. You may also check the above Web site for information regarding the on sale date. All returning students had until May 11, 2007 to sign up for a football season ticket. There are no exceptions to this deadline.

All other athletic events for the 2007-08 year can be attended on a first-come, first-served basis by showing a valid USC student ID card. All events are subject to available seating.

Cultural Events

The Ticket Office offers tickets for select on-campus cultural events. Tickets for the School of Theatre and Thornton School of Music events, as well as Spectrum and special speaker and artists series events can be purchased at the Ticket Office or online at www.usc.edu/tickets. Students rates are available.

Discounted Movie and Attraction Tickets

Discounted tickets are available to many Southern California entertainment events and attractions, including: Disneyland, Universal Studios, Magic Mountain, Knotts Berry Farm, Raging Waters, winter skiing discounts, IMAX Theatre (Science Center), Legoland, selected Broadway show performances and El Capitan movie performances. The discounted movie theater tickets are actually really helpful, since places like the Grove charge 12 bucks a ticket. You can get them for around $6 as long as the movie isn’t a new release. Plus, they can never expire (CA state law), so you can hold on to a bunch of them.

Also, the theme park tickets are way cheaper than at the gate to, say, Disneyland. Definitely a good deal.

The ticket office can sell discounted tickets to the Pacific Cinemas, El Capitan, and a couple others, but won’t/can’t sell tickets to the Arclight. (Fair warning.) But getting tickets to the Pacific Cinemas is well worth it - the one at The Grove is a really nice theater.

I found some good deals for concerts and football at http://www.bigplaytickets.com. They are basically another online service but they provide sources from quite a few other brokers and prices are not jacked up to Mars. I prefer buying from here knowing there is fraud insurance as opposed to buying it from Charlie on the corner.
