Trojans Lancers

“The purpose of the Trojan Lancers is to develop within the non-organized students a feeling of unity. The association has included within its scope four fields of endeavor, namely: social, service, athletic and scholastic. This plan was originally intended to include the entire 75 percent now unorganized, but difficulties arose whereupon the lancers had to solicit membership, free from all dues.”– USC Student Handbook 1937-38
