Question: I’m planning to start a club. What steps do I need to go through to get the club officially recognized?

Answer: In order for your organization to be recognized, you must fill out an application, submit a constitution and have your advisor complete an advisor form. Religious organizations must schedule an interview and fill out an additional form from the Office of Religious Life. These forms, as well as more information on this process, are available online at www.usc.edu/stuorgs. The requirements are also outlined in University Governance – Recognition of Student Organizations.

Points for New Students

USC offers great opportunities to get involved. USG is an organization I got involved in and it has really enriched my college experience.
