“The Rose Bowl Game climaxed a thrill-packed campaign for Troy’s Gridiron Gladiators this year. Closing with an 8-3 record, the Trojans near upset over Notre Dame and holding down Ohio State in the New Year’s Day classic had the experts talking long after the final whistle. Though this isn’t a Bowl year, Troy will be out to recapture the Victory bell and dethrone our ‘friends from Westwood.’”
