Trojan History

“Social activity on campus completely stops during the week before final examinations begin. This is called Stop Week, and even the Daily Trojan ceases publication. The purpose of Stop Week is to afford better chances for preparation for final exams.”

Personal Favorites

Tiffany recommends:
- Diving In
I would recommend getting involved. Don’t be shy, and don’t be hesitant. The students at USC are so welcoming and nice that if you dive in head first, you are automatically going to establish yourself. That’s the first thing I did. I became part of the USC Fly Girls and the Gospel Choir, and I developed a family at each organization that I joined and established a network of friends. - Checking Out Visions and Voices
Visions and Voices is probably the best thing I’ve discovered in my second semester at USC. It’s free, they provide transportation, and it allows you to do things in LA that you wouldn’t be able to afford unless you have a really high-paying job. Last year, I went to see Swan Lake, and I went to numerous plays, dinners and showcases. - Eating at Roscoe’s House of Chicken & Waffles
I love going to Roscoe’s House of Chicken & Waffles, because I’m a Southerner, and I have to get the fried chicken and waffles in at some point in time. - Mapping It
SCampus is the campus directory, so I got a lot of information from that. And I use it for the maps.
